The Artist

Ann
Smith

Ann Smith's glorious watercolors have been winning awards for more than 40 years. Her paintings and creative process have been featured internationally in numerous books and artist magazines. Trained at UCLA with a degree in Biological Illustration, she paints with a unique blend of technical discipline and emotional exuberance. Her paintings seem to fall somewhere in between spiritual and sensual. Often begun without a plan, some of her favorite paintings are developed through the slow meditative process of "discovered imagery" and may take months to complete. Her large scale watercolors are recognized as stunning centerpieces in many corporate and private collections.
